María Gómez García

Born in Fuente Álamo (1987), a town with a rich agricultural tradition in the Campo de Cartagena, María Gómez grew up captivated by her grandmother’s cooking. She trained at the Aiala Hospitality School with Karlos Arguiñano and the Basque Culinary Center, refining her skills at renowned kitchens like Arzak and El Bulli. Alongside Adrián de Marcos, she founded Magoga, where her dream came to life. Her cuisine, blending Cartagena’s history and childhood flavors, earned 1 Michelin Star and 2 Repsol Suns. Today, María is a leading figure among Spain’s new generation of chefs.
